What can we find in the OMAPI’s documentation service ?

The Malagasy Office of Industrial Property (OMAPI) works closely and is supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. To do this, the organization equips OMAPI several documents.

CD and DVD ROM

Currently OMAPI has WIPO CD and DVD ROM contains bibliographic data of European patent applications from 1978 to present. CD and DVD ROM allows everyone to perform, not only research, but also to a technology watch, that is to say, Madagascar is level technology information than any other country in the world.Indeed, OMAPI periodically receives various types of CD and DVD ROM containing patent documents from around the world.

The European Patent Office (EPO) has issued three CD ROM containing a bibliographic documentation spread over 20 years. CD and DVD ROM and facilitate research. So whatever your field, OMAPI is able to provide the most accurate documentation possible from its collections of CD and DVD ROM.

The consultation is free, but if a patent document interests you, you OMAPI will provide for a fee (cost of paper and ink!). The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is to promote the protection and use of intellectual property throughout the world.
